A place to worship

We started the Ministry in 2006 at Thaneermoodu Village at Thiruvananthapuram dist. God helped us to gather a fellowship, but we have no place for a church. Hearing our prayers, God provided us a piece of land through Sr. Baby who donated this, to build a church, and a temporary shed was made there. But now this shed has collapsed due to rain and wind. We request you to pray for us to get help to build a permanet church in this place for worship.

Our Church in Vattapara consists of 28 children who are coming from poorest non-christian families. We are trying to them within our limits. We request you to pray for us to get permanent resources to help these needy people.

We request your prayer for I.P.M. team members who teach the word of God for these poor children.

Helping the needy

Meet Pastor Satheesh Kumar.

Satheesh Kumar was born in a poor Hindu family of Aruvikere Dam in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, in 1972. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior in October 1992, following his micraculous recovery from lymphoma, a dreaded form of cancer.

His family consists of his wife Stella, and their two kids, Prijith kumar (9) and Sajan Kumar (6), and his aged parents. As he was the soul breadwinner of the family, and there was no other way, they decided to sell the property towards his treatment. When he was in the process of selling his small house, he prayed fervently to God in tears." If you allow me to live longer, I surely will do your ministry for the remaining of my life," promised Sathish to Jesus Christ in agony, when he knew his days are numbered, in such a prime age.

As a gift to his promise, without spending any amount of money he was healed. "I felt suddenly better and a light coming on my path, soothing my pain, and relieving my fear of death. I was posted for chemotherapy, but seeing my progress the doctors attending on me, kept on postponing it, and finally no chemotherapy was given to me," says Satheesh. This experience only enriched his faith in God and he dcided to dedicate his remaining life for the service of Jesus Christ. He sold his house and bought a barren land in a remote village Vattapara, 18 kms from Thiruvananthapuram city. He built a small house in a portion of the land to accommodate his family, and built a small church adjacent to it. Daily prayers are held here. He is planning to build a home in the premises for the upliftment of needy children from the neighborhood, towards his mission.

At present he is taking care of 10 tribal kids by way of their food, and teaching them Bible stories. As there is no place to accommodate them they are sent home in the evenings. He became known as Pastor Satheesh and the couple pray for the care of cancer patients and visit them in the cancer centres and empathise with them.

At present his source of income is by way of donations from the kind-hearted and known people.
In Satheesh's own words -

"How can you be involved?
1. You can pray for the Ministry
2. You can join with us to pray with Prayer Church Network.
3. You can come with us to remote villages as a missionary.
4. You can join with us to implement the project"

Your help will be highly appreciated.
